  • Culture, Sport and Recreation MEC, Norah Mahlangu-Mabena has called on all people of Mpumalanga to participate at Recreation Day and Big Walk this weekend at Mbombela Stadium.
    The Recreation Day, to be held annually on the first Friday of October, aims to encourage the community to participate in recreational activities such as jogging, aerobics, indigenous games, yoga, cycling, dancing among others, while the Big Walk is a five-kilometre fun walk.

  • Mpumalanga closed Women’s Month in style when thousands of people descended on Ezinambeni Edward Matjeke Primary School in Ezinambeni, eMalahleni on Sunday, 30 August.
    Celebrated under the theme: Women United in Moving South Africa Forward, the event was marked to honour the undying spirit of South African women and the role they play in moving South Africa forward. The provincial government used the event to celebrate women in the province, highlight the plight of women and work against abuse and any form of gender-based violence.
