Official Opening of Klarinet Library

In celebration of Human Rights month, MEC for Culture, Sport and Recreation Ms Norah Mahlangu – Mabena presented the community of Klarinet with a state- of – the – art Library. The opening of this Library is in accordance with government’s initiatives of prioritizing education and ensuring that the people of South Africa have access to resources which are to better their lives. Mahlangu – Mabena called on the youth to use this hub of knowledge to learn about the world around them and urged the community to refrain from vandalizing and burning the Library, but instead be “Friends of the Library” and protect it.  Executive Mayor of eMalahleni, Ms Sithole encouraged learners from Coronation Combined School and surrounding areas to keep making strides in their education by using this facility. Emanuel, a learner at the local school could not contain his excitement and stated that he will be using the Library to complete assignments and study for tests. The Library, which boasts a study room, media room, kiddies learning area as well as a computer room with access to free internet and Wi-Fi and a plethora of books will ensure that the people of Klarinet learn something new everyday.  Klarinet Extension 6 is in Ward 12 of eMalahleni in the Nkangala District.
