Brace yourself for content that will keep you informed, entertained and fit as a fiddle during lockdown...

14 March 2020

MBOMBELA –Starting on Wednesday (April 15), the department will be publishing content on its digital platforms to help you beat Covid-19, invigorate your mind, cultivate your dream bod and sharpen your general knowledge skills about Mpumalanga and South Africa.

The department has digital footprints on Facebook (dcsr.official), Twitter (@DCSROfficial), Instagram (dcsrofficial) and on www.https://dcsr.mpg.gov.za.

Working together with the department of health, we will be sharing screening and testing sites and dates in the province. This will ensure that we flatten the curve.

While you do your part to fight Covid-19 during this lockdown by staying home, washing your hands, practicing social distancing and covering your mouth when you cough, the department will pull all the stops to ensure that you use the period to become a better and healthy person.

Come April 15, we will be having aerobics and functional training sessions in the morning and evenings, respectively. In between that, we will be making deposits into your general knowledge vessel by taking you on a journey through the Mpumalanga Liberation Route.

We will also have informative content on National Symbols and Indigenous Games. “The department is all about keeping people fit, healthy and informed during the lockdown” explains spokesperson Sibongile Nkosi.

Together we can beat this, South Africa.
