MBOMBELA –MINISTERIAL BACK TO SCHOOL IMBIZO 2019
Minister Nathi Mthethwa invites members of the media to the Go Back to School Imbizo and Flag Hoisting Campaign that will take place at Z.B Kunene Secondary School located at Kanyamazane in Ehlanzeni, Mbombela. The theme is Drop a Book Campaign Drive.
Accompanied by MEC of Culture, Sports and Recreation and both District Municipality and City of Mbombela Mayors the Minister will handover Books to two identified schools and engage learners on the importance of reading and writing, Social Cohesion and Nation Building and Patriotism which includes flag hoisting and National Symbols.
Various artists to accompany the minister to motivate learners are Ms. Mapaseka Koetla – will deliver motivational note, Kid X – performance, Kwesta – appearance and Thee Legacy – performance. Minister will also drop books at (Sicela Lwati Combined School in Thekwane North)
