MPUMALANGA PREMIER's CUP LAUNCH SET FOR 10 JULY

Get ready for a bigger and better Mpumalanga Premier's Cup (MPC)! The 2026 edition of this pre-season tournament will take place on 18–19 July at Kanyamazane Stadium and other venues in the City of Mbombela.
The two-day event will kick off with the finals of the schools and community sports competitions on 18 July, where football and netball matches will be played at Valencia Sports Ground, KaNyamazane Netball Courts as well as Nelsville and Kamagugu stadiums. The tournament will conclude with the province's four professional clubs, TS Galaxy, The Bees, Kruger United and Casric Stars FC, competing in a top-four tournament at KaNyamazane Stadium on Sunday, July 19.
"We're excited that the Mpumalanga Premier's Cup is back, and it will give our people a chance to watch the Big Four in action. What makes it even better this time around is the inclusion of a development element through school sport as pupils are the future of the game," said MEC for Culture, Sport and Recreation, Leah Mabuza.
The MPC will be officially launched by Premier Mandla Ndlovu on Friday, 10 July 2026, and members of the media are invited to attend. The details are as follows:
