ALL SYSTEMS FOR MPUMALANGA SPORT AWARD
For Immediate Release - 17 March 2026It’s all systems go for the Seventh Edition Mpumalanga Sport Awards (MPSA), set to take place on Saturday, 21 March 2026 at The Dome @ The Ridge in Emalahleni, starting at 18:00.
The MPSA aim to recognise and celebrate the sporting excellence of local athletes, administrators and coaches who have represented their clubs, districts and the province with distinction in 2025.
“We’re excited about the Mpumalanga Sport Awards as they recognise excellence across the entire sport ecosystem. We wish all the nominees the very best,” says departmental spokesperson, Sibongile Nkosi.
The awards feature the following categories: Sport Administrator of the Year, Technical Official of the Year, Youth/Junior Sport Star of the Year, Youth/Junior Sport Team of the Year, Provincial Federation of the Year, Coach of the Year, Sportswoman of the Year, Sportsman of the Year, Sports Star of the Year, including the MEC’s Awards, as well as two publicly voted categories: Sport Fan of the Year and People’s Choice Star of the Year. Voting for these categories closes on Friday, 20 March at 23:45. SMS costs R1.50. Free SMSes don’t apply.
