MEC Mabuza shares heartfelt condolences to the family of Reverend Dr. SD Gumbi
It is with deep sadness that the Department has learnt of the passing of Reverend Dr Gumbi. To many in the province of Mpumalanga and beyond, Reverend Gumbi was a pillar of Christian faith and a veteran leader of our society. In the year 2022, the Department of Culture, Sport and Recreation honoured the Reverend with a Lifetime Achievement Award during the Mpumalanga Gospel Music Awards’ (MGOMA) 9th Installment. Reverend Dr. Gumbi always exuded faith, love, hope and wisdom, his contributions to the community will be felt for many years to come. His legacy of kindness, humility, and spiritual leadership will remain in our hearts. “To the Gumbi family, please accept our most sincere condolences during this difficult time. May you find comfort in the cherished memories you shared with him and the profound impact he had on many lives. Our thoughts and prayers are with you as you navigate this loss.
