TAX TERMINOLOGY BOOKLET

Mbombela-The Department of Culture, Sport and Recreation in partnership with SARS will officially receive a tax terminology booklet which will be handed over to the Department in an event to mark the official completion of the project.
“The language Unit of the South African Revenue Services(SARS) has developed a multilingual tax terminology list booklet with equivalents in all the 10 official languages of the country. This booklet was officially launched by the Commissioner in March 2022. As proud custodians of Siswati and isiNdebele, the Department is happy to have been part of this protecting and promoting of our indegenous languages” says MEC
The Department will also be announcing the winners for 2022/2023 writing competition The competition is targeting young budding and new writers not older than 35 years who are citizens of Mpumalanga.
Closing date for entries was 2 September 2022 . A total of 35 entries were received: 13 for isiNdebele and 22 for Siswati. Adjudicators have concluded the evaluation process and the winning entries have been selected. Winning entries will be published.
