MEC ISSUES RALLY CALL FOR BAFANA'S 12th MAN

Mbombela Stadium will come to light again this Sunday afternoon as South Africa’s national soccer team will face their counterparts from Angola in what is set to become a grueling duel on Sunday. Fans will once again be treated to an SADC duel when South Africa face Mozambique in a friendly game which is expected to produce fireworks , if the recent encounters between the two countries be anything to go by. South Africa has a good record against Angola but will be seeking revenge, having lost the last two matches. The teams have met 19 times with South Africa winning 10, losing 3 and sharing points 9 times.
South Africa will be looking to increase their tally this weekend as the teams will be meeting for the 20th time since 1996. Fresh from their 2-0 win over Mozambique on Thursday, which has bolstered the hopes and reignited passion for the national team. The MEC for Culture, Sport and Recreation Ms Thandi Shongwe congratulated Bafana Bafana and invited fans to support the team once again on Sunday.
