LAUNCH OF NETBALL FRIDAYS

MBOMBELA- The Mpumalanga Provincial Government will officially be launching Netball Fridays on the 24th of June 2022 at Mbombela Stadium.
MEC for Culture, Sport and Recreation, Ms Thandi Shongwe will deliver the address at the event. “As a department, we are looking forward to officially launching Netball Fridays in the province. Mpumalanga’s very own Sunbirds, who made us proud as a province when they took second place at the Telkom Tournament, will be joining us as we prepare for the Netball World Cup to be held in 2023 in Cape Town”, said the MEC.
The event will start at 10:00 with a short parade from Shell Garage, Mataffin to Mbombela Stadium.
All Covid-19 health and safety protocols will be adhered to.
