Mpumalanga’s Funniest On Stage

All of this and more will be happening at the second week of the Sixth Annual Mpumalanga Cultural Xperience, starting with the Comedy Xperience on Thursday, 9 December at Emnotweni Arena at 18:00, featuring Mduduzi Ntuli, Inno Mash, Tsietsi Matlakala Abuti Lolo, Fana Dladla, Oscar Mabunda, Bashaya Bahleke, Lizo Vava, Manyora de Comedian, Nkosinathi Masemula, Luyanda Maseko, Vusi Mongwe, Ngcozi Yebo, Alinda, TT Pasha, Mathewu Bhoza and Siphosethu Mrenga Khumalo. Entrance is R150 at Ticketpro and Spar outlets.

“We are excited that we have reached the business end of the Mpumalanga Cultural Xperience and it is all system go. We have put together a festival for everyone to enjoy. We have music, comedy, sport and recreational, all of which bring us together as a people. Fun-filled Day Awaits Patrons

Saturday, 11 December is a chockablock with events in all corners of Mpumalanga with local artists displaying their artistic talents. Activities of the day will start with a five-kilometre fun walk/run, followed by recreational games such as tug of war, aerobics and indigenous games at GaMorwe Stadium in Dr JS Moroka Municipality, Nkangala District at 06:00 until midday. Entrance is free.

Choral Xperience starts at 09:00 at Ermelo Civic Centre. The Choral Xperience will showcase the best choirs in the province and entrance is R60 at the door. The day concludes with a Main Festival Xperience at Mbombela Stadium, starting at 12:00. The lineup includes KO, Jay Spitter, General Muzka, Passion Master, Phumla Music Spice, Crystal Sounds, Chilla Flamez, Sisko Tee, Brenden Praise, Indlovukazi, Afrotraction, DJ Mabhodo, Shisaboy, Zodwa Mabena, Pensele, C-less, Caiiro, Sipho Sethu, King Zeph, Leehleza, DJ Vuna, C-Black, Sandy V, Tyrese The Black King, Jeffrey Nkosi, Ivulandlela, Ndebele On Top, Senzsation, Madumane, Bussai and Mzwandile, KaMangweni. The Soul Session Xperience and Mpumalanga Gospel Music Awards will bring the curtain down on this year’s event at Lowveld Botanical Garden and Communio Church, respectively.

Soothing Sounds of Mpumalanga
The soothing sounds of Sweet Mike, Lil Da Kid, Musa Nene, Nhlakanipho Band, Zama, Ode, Brandon Dludlu, Karabo, Musa Sukwene, Afro Brothers, Dezz Muss, 3-Gee, Mnqobi Luyazi, Stimela, Buhle, Kayzo, Bongi Silinda and Reshen Music will serenade patrons for R150 and tickets are avalaible at www.ticketpros.co.za and Spar outlets. It starts at 10:00.

Recognising Top Gospel Artists
The Mpumalanga Gospel Music Awards will celebrate gospel artists whose stars shone the brightest this year. The lineup includes Pastor Anderson Matsane, Nkazimulo Gospel Group, Bushbuckridge Explosion, Ian Calf, Nompumelelo Mtsweni, Lungile Mhango and Ndumiso Makubule and tickets sell from R200 at Computicket. The Awards start with a red carpet event at 16:30.
