MEC Mourns Ligwalagwala FM's Kingdom

Culture, Sport and Recreation MEC, Lindiwe Ntshalintshali is saddened and pained by the passing on of Ligwalagwala FM DJ, Sifiso Kingdom Mkhabela, who hosted Sisonke Midday Grooves and Weekend Wrap on the station.
Mkhabela died in a car accident on October 26. He was 26.
“I am devastated by his loss. He was a talented DJ, who still had so much to give to the radio industry and in life. At this difficult time, I want extend my heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, Ligwalagwala FM team, listeners of the station and all those who were touched by this young man.
I assure all of you that you are not alone in your grieve. Your loss is my loss, our loss. You are in my prayers and thoughts at this very sad time,” says MEC Ntshalintshali.
Adds the MEC, ”In Kingdom, the future of the wireless was safe in his hands. He was one of the new breed of DJs who made Ligwalagwala FM a hip, cool and popular radio station and was also establishing himself as a deep house DJ in the local club scene.”
